Earlier this year, our skilled Geelong civil contractors took on a new build industrial shed project for our client Sproutwell Greenhouses. The job comprised various specialist functions and was completed to the highest quality standard, going above and beyond client expectation.
This project commenced with the installation of gravity flow stormwater grain and concrete pits & gates, followed by an AG drain, quarry products, and the installation of geofabric. Our qualified team followed this by running the lateral lines to the proposed downpipe locations on the east side of the building after the functions were installed into the gravity-fed line.
The BIS civil contractors on the site then suspended the stormwater as stated in the plan and connected it into a retention tank, followed by the installation of sewer drain and smart wastes. From here, the team installed and connected a new water service; which included under road bore and a meter set up.
An important aspect of a civil works job such as this is the installation of the firehose reel and all hot and cold water to be connected accurately, as well as waste. The project was them finalised with the fitting off of all fixtures and appliances.
